As a special this week, on Tuesday 15th September, we’ll have a go at painting with gouache.

I’ll be using titanium white, a primary yellow, warm and cool versions of red and blue, and perhaps a green, and we’ll see how we can handle this Italian landscape using a fairly limited palette.

It should be an interesting one, so I hope you can join me!

This Tuesday at 11 a.m. French time, we’ll be painting in oils after our members’ chat. We’ll be tackling a landscape with a dramatic sky, and everyone is welcome to join the live stream…..either to watch or paint along, whichever suits you best.

Recommended colours:

• Titanium white

• Naples yellow

• Cadmium yellow pale

• Red oxide

• Cad Red

• Alizarin Crimson

• Cobalt blue

• Sap green

• Viridian Green

• Ultramarine blue

This is just a suggested palette and of course, any colours you have will work fine.

I’ll be painting around A4 size on a toned ground.
